GOD gave moses the ten commandments on mount sinai to serve as priciples of moral behavior for the human race. The ten commandments of GOD are the moral code and legal system of justice for Western Christian civilization.






THE TEN COMMANDMENTS OF GOD

I am the LORD thy GOD.

Thou shall not have any other gods besides ME.

Thou shall not make for thyself any graven image.

Thou shall not take the name of the LORD thy GOD in vain.

Remember to keep holy the SABBATH day.

Honour thy father and mother.

Thou shall not kill.

Thou shall not commit adultery.

Thou shall not steal.

Thou shall not bear false witness against thy neighbor.

Thou shall no covet thy neighbor's wife.

Thou shall not covet thy neighbor's ( good).
